First of all, that crap isn’t music. Since you like Alt and indie, try WU LYF and Laura Stevenson and The Cans

I surely hope you’re not calling any one of these bands screamo (AA, BMTH, BVB)? First off, none of those bands are screamo. Second, the most recent real screamo band to release something in the 00′s is Saetia – “A Retrospective”. (2005) And, Bucket Full of Teeth – “IV” (2005)

That’s about it. The real term, “screamo” died in the 90s. I’m stoked though that it still lingered in the 00′s a little bit.

Everything else is either…post hardcore, metalcore, deathcore, or something else. There are real post hardcore bands, but some labeled as post hardcore for our generation, (Chiodos, Dance Gavin Dance, We Came As Romans, I See Stars, Senses Fail, Emery, etc). For metalcore, of this generation, (The Devil Wears Prada, Norma Jean, Gwen Stacy, Mychildren Mybride, etc). And I’m not going to mention any deathcore cuz you probably don’t like it. But if you do, let me know.

Also, Trivium is some decent metalcore.
And for some real post hardcore, bands such as: Texas Is the Reason, Helmet, Unsane, Mohinder, etc. That’s the real, raw, and uncut stuff. The DIY kind of stuff.
For some real screamo, bands such as: Saetia, Orchid, Pg 99, Hot Cross, I Would Set Myself On Fire For You, Neil Perry, Bucket Full of Teeth, etc.

Well..I can help you out with the Indie. :D
You might like bands like:
Two Door Cinema Club – Something Good Can Work, What You Know.
Ra Ra Riot – Boy, Dying Is Fine.
Bloc Party – Tulips, Ion Square.
The Kooks – Naive, Be Mine.
There you go!
Four bands I think you might like with 8 songs that I think you might enjoy from them..
Enjoy! :]

yea instead of copy pasting a huge list, or typing 75 bands everyone already knows about… check out these bands (and song(s) in parentheses.) :) )
At The Skylines (When People Stop Being Polite, It’s Cherried)
Hit The Lights (Don’t Wait, Breathe In)
Fire In The Skies (Echo, In Rhetoric)
The Ocean The Sky (Reality As A Dream, Our Days Are Numbered)
Memphis May Fire (The Abandoned, The Haunted)
She Has Fallen (Tangents, Atheos)
A Loss For Words (Hold Your Breath, Heavy Lies The Crown)
Our Last Night (Escape, The Devil Inside You)

(btw im aware som of these bands are well known lol )
also, The Ocean The Sky will not be on youtube, check them out on lastfm or itunes, they are amazing !!
hope this was helpful :)
