Can I use wedding chicks free print-ables on an invitation kit?

by DIY wedding planner on June 14, 2014

I want to use wedding chicks free print ables ( for my invitations. Can I print these on invitation kits or do I need to get full size sheets of paper and cut them down?

Also, has anyone done this? What did it turn out like?

Try printing on plain paper first. This way you can see what they look like, how big or small they print and if they will fit on your invitations. This will also help you see which way to put your invitations in your printer.

Someone else’s experience might not be yours. What worked on one printer, might have to be tweaked to work on another printer.

It looks to me like these printables are downloaded to you computer via an image. Many kits these days come with a free template that you download from the internet. The templates are typically word documents with proper margins set as to not interfere with the print already on the kit invitations.

In my opinion, it would be very easy to save the image that wedding chicks gives you, then put it on the kit template and resize it until it fits how you want. However, make sure that you print it on plain paper first, then cover it with an actual invitation. Hold them with a light shining behind them, and you should be able to see the wedding chicks wording on your kit invite. If it looks good, Golden! If not, see where you can make adjustments. Can you adjust the margins? Can you move the image around? I bet you’ll be able to, and that they will look fantastic! :)
