Can you put miracle grow in plantable paper?

My sister is having a wedding and she wants her favors to be plantable paper. I’m helping her make it and I want to have some assurance that it will grow when they plant it. could you mix in miracle grow when you mix the seeds in? here is the tutorial i found on how to make the paper : http://www.hillcitybride.com/2010/11/diy-from-pulp-art-plantable-paper/

miracle grow is a blue-green color and will NOT allow for pretty pastel colors. besides… if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. just follow the directions as is.

ceeli is correct.

Too much fertilizer may burn the newly sprouted seedlings. Seeds contain a certain amount of food necessary for the plant to get started and do not require extra fertilizer.
