I was looking at the invites on davidsbridal.com and found one I like. After all of my customization, the price came down to around $380. This included 100 personalized invites with lined envelopes, 100 reply cards with addressed envelopes, and 100 thank you cards with envelopes. It seems like everything I need, but what do you think of that price? Is that average, cheap, or a bit on the pricey side?

**Note: I don’t have any interest in DIY invites and I’m going for a more stress free approach to ordering these. Any suggestions are welcome!

Have you compared prices at
http://www.invitationsbydawn.com/index.jsp
and

???

There is also
http://www.theamericanwedding.com/

My advice would be check out several other sites, see if they carry something similar, and compare prices.

That is too much if you ask me. We paid about $100 for 100 invitations (personalized), envelopes, RSVP cards and their envelopes on 123print.com.

Another idea – Michael’s carries kits that you can use to design your own at home with a laser printer. :)

That’s VERY cheap, in my opinion. We paid a lot more than that for invitations that we loved.

pretty high price. you would be better off going directly to an invitation printing company like

If you like it & can afford it, then its fine.
It isn’t ridiculous — I’ve heard of people paying $5-$10, and even more PER invite, so yours are costing $3.80 each and you have Thank You’s as well.

Personally, I wouldn’t pay that much for a card that people are going to throw out, so I did make my own. As this does not interest you — I default to “if you can afford it, at least the price is not crazy”.

I used invitations by Dawn and the invitations came back quickly and were of excellent quality. Just proof read them to make sure times, place names, etc. is all correct before submitting your order.
The design I picked ended up costing about the same as the do-it-yourself ones from Joanns or Michaels and the quality was superb.

I got my invitations from vistaprint.com (i love them)

They are about $1.00 each including the envelopes…so for 100 that would be $100.
HOWEVER..THEY GIVE DISCOUNT WHEN YOU ORDER A LOT..SO 100 INVITATIONS IS ONLY $50.00
100 reply cards with envelopes $44.00
100 thank you cards with envelopes $56.24

total $150.00

I went to vistaprint.com and picked any invitation, reply card, and thank you card to get these prices. Their prices may go up or down depending on the ones YOU pick.

David’s Bridal would naturally be more expensive because they are “name brand” in the wedding industry. A place like vistaprint.com or 123print.com would be “generic”
