Does anyone know where I can find the things to make invitations online?

by DIY wedding planner on February 3, 2013

I am thinking about making my own wedding invitations since I can’t find any that I like otherwise, but I don’t want the simple kits from walmart or target. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place online where I could buy the folded invitations and put everything together and decorate them myself… Or do you know of someone who completely customize my invitations for me?

I used for all of my paper materials. My paper, cardstock and even the envelopes were available in the same color as well as many other textures.
They also carry petal fold cards and all that kind of stuff. You just have to check the site over. I was really pleased with their prices, shipping fees and time and everything arrived packed well.
Here is the link
They will custom cut paper down to size for you as well. ALso if you want samples I think they are 50 cents each.
I don’t think they have prefolded paper though.

I myself checked out Michaels. The invitations were still pricey and came in packs of 3 less than what we needed. So I bought 100 blank invitations and envelopes for $25 and make my own and put a pretty bow on them. It looked great and is very unique.

I ordered everything for my invitations from here. I got the Stardream metallic paper and envelopes in Quartz:

The wedding is in December, so I also got these Snowflake pochettes instead of inner envelopes. They came out beautiful!

They also have the pocket invites, and just about anything you’d want. I paid a reasonable price for everything, cut them myself, and still have paper and envelopes left over to make cards in the future!

We are using these. I actually picked the vintage shelby ones and they look nice.

A good source for pocketfolds is Cards & Pockets:

I ended up ordering Envelopment invitations from TextStyeDesigns, they also do custom invites. For the inserts I ordered matching cardstock from Paper and More and had it printed and cut and Kinko’s.

You can make invitation online but of course need to have whatever nice stationary type paper you want.
