Well our budget is 12,000
My family is very creative, my aunts have taken flower arrangement class, uncles own a catering company, my mom loves throwing parties..
Anyways I was wondering what were some good DIY websites/ideas!
My wedding colors are pink/white and maybe some gold
I like the classic wedding look with lots of flowers

Lastly does anyone know of a good website on how to make a flower arrangement with a really tall vase? Like what kind of vase do floristes use?

We’re also doing our wedding mostly DIY with an even smaller budget!

I have actually found a lot of great DIY ideas on both TheKnot.com and through Martha Stewart Weddings. I look on Pinterest all the time and they jhave great ideas on there as well, plus it’s nice to be able to organize all of your ideas onto one board.

As for the floral arrangement I would search on YouTube for a how-to video. I just did a quick google search and there are tons of videos that came up which should be the best way to follow along. I used to work at a florist and I know from experience that it takes practice so I would highly recommend getting some fake flowers to practice with before you attempt them before the wedding.

Good luck!

What state are you? Depending on where you live $12K can be a whole lot or little. We live in NY and planned our wedding under $15K with about 100 guests. I used the Knot.com I found the suggestions quite helpful. It’s great that you have such a talented pool of family members it should be fun. Remember, it can be as expensive or as inexpensive as you want to make it. It all depends on your taste. For example, I had 2 bridemaids and 1 maid of honor and I only spent $185 for flowers, which was dirt cheap. Let’s just say thta I got creative when it came to the ceter pieces. My boquet was garbera daisies and the girls boquet was calla lillies. I also managed to squeeze in 2 mother’s corsage, and 6 guys button roses. Girl, you’ve got to get creative.

Best of luck. Let me know if you need any advice. :-)
