Okay I am in the process of opening my own business. Specialty will be making Pew Bows and Wedding Card Boxes with matching Guest Books and Pens all adorned with Swarovski Crystals. People really love my Holiday Bows also. I also make and sell alot of Swarovski Jewelry for Weddings and Special Occasions. As you can see I Love Swarovski Crystals…smile. They say name should reflect products made. My name is Nonagail (long O sound) but my father used to call me Pa Jeanie when I was little girl. Don’t ask me why I have no idea…smile. Here are a few I came up with…Bella Pa Jeanie’s…PaJeanie’s Fine Wedding Things…Fine Wedding Treasures…Special Day Jewels…PaJeanie’s Wedding Jewels…Bling by Pa Jeanie…Pa Jeanie Jewels…Someone on here said Bling Genie.
Do any of these sound good? Or any ideas for names that you can come up with? This is alot harder than I thought it would be to decide. People say words like Bling are not classy enough for wedding stuff. Seems to be people take wedding stuff very seriously!! They say it sounds trendy and tacky not classy. Serious answers only please. I will say Thank You now for taking the time to help me with this. I listed here because of fellow DIY people out there…smile. Not alot of catagorys to choose from for this question. I am trying to get the general public to help on this….not just business area alone. Once again thank you very much. So take a vote from names above or add your idea.

Nothing with the word ‘bling.’ It is not a word, simply slang that will vanish soon.
Wedding Reflections
Wedding Dreams
Bride Smiles
Bridal Treasures
Wedding Memories

Learn to write good copy. Grammar counts.

Your name will depend on how serious you want people to take you. I agree with getting rid of anything with bling or slang words or “cutesy things” in it.
If you want to be able to branch out stay away from anything that limits you, such as wedding day, jewels. Try “Decorating Treasures” or “Decorating for Special Days” “Special Day Decorating” . This way if you were to print up flyer’s you could list the different types of decorating you specialize in.

Be professional. Make sure you have prices and a business plan in place before you do anything. Meaning.. who do you want to target, what will it cost you, and what will you charge. Is there any competition in the area? How will you market (let people know you exist)? In any business, if we fail to plan, we plan to fail. Good luck to you!

Just a thought here about if you are eventually going to incorporate the business. The state keeps names for incorporated businesses that they will NOT allow you to use so that you are not doing business under another companies name. So a perusal of names that are already taken for incorporation may help you streamline this process.

And remember also your name will attract more if it does have a bit of what you do in the name, I don’t think bling genie is the best either. Jeanie’s jewels- jeanie’s designs–Nona’s designs–Nona’s wedding jewels– Jeanie’s wedding touches– Good luck
