My parents are celebrating 30 years next month, & my brother & I along with our significant others want to throw a surprise party for them. Roughly 20-30 people invited. We want to do a backyard games & grill out theme (what they love to do) and invite close friends & family. We have some acousitc musicians lined up to play for a few hours, and have a few games, but what can we serve & decorate with that is DIY? Any games & fun things to do for them to highlight their 30 years?!
Musicians annoying? I feel bad for you! My dad is a guitarist & loves that stuff! Glad your not coming! :)
Love the flag & mason jar ideas!!! I have tons of blue ball jars i can decorate with!

Decorate with something like this, but add photos of them as a couple through the years:

Add the photos to the individual flags, which could be made out of paper, burlap, or fabric.

Also, the centerpieces could be something like this to match the other “flags”

You could put a photo of them on a tag and tie it to the wire holder.

Games? How about old fashioned lawn games (jarts, croquet, bocce ball) – if you’ve got the room.
