Is Emily Arise a good band name?

by DIY wedding planner on May 27, 2012

We are a mix of indie and classic rock. Is it a good name, or give suggestions. If you want to know where Emily came from, it came from Corpse Bride.

no, really bad. Maybe emily rising but emily arise just sounds stupid. And you can’t be classic rock, you poser. It’s physically and chronologically impossible.

How about changing it slightly to Emily A-r-s-e? I’ll give you 3 reasons.

!) People will think you’re british, and be delighted when they find you’re not.
2) People will mispronounce it as Emily’s A-r-s-e. If you can get someone to mispronounce your name you’ve made it. The name will also stick in their heads longer when you finally correct them.
3) People will want to know who Emily A-r-s-e is, assuming it’s a real chick’s last name. When they find out there’s no Emily they will be amused.
