ok, so i bought these invitations from walmart: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10402160
my color is light pink..i wanted to put a little splash of color, so i bought card stock and ribbon..but the ribbon looks a little busy with the doves…im not sure how i should incorporate the ribbon or if i should use it at all! What other small decorations could i use besides the pink ribbon???..would it look good without anything on the invitation (since theres enough design on the invitation already) and just use the card stock?! i dont want it to look plain though!

If your cardstock is fancier use ribbon is very simple and thin ( offray spool o’ ribbon is great and super cheap) or maybe a sheer organza ribbon and make a sash or just a small bow. Also, you could find some pink vellum to layer over it and tie with the ribbon or plain pink cardsock layered underneath. You could play with color in your printing as well (pink font) or get pink envelopes or even find some tasteful confetti to put in the envelope. Maybe you could buy some pink watercolor paint (opaque gouache might be best) and paint little dots on the embossed flowers to add some color.

Hope that helps and gives you some ideas
Happy wedding planning!

I think the invitations look lovely. I personally don’t think they need anything else added to them besides the card stock. Congrats & Best of luck!

I think the invitations are fine the way they are now, but if you want color or something on them, head to the rubber stamp area. There are pens made for writing on the embossed part of the rubber stamp that you could use directly on the invitation, such as on the little flowers. They also have some embossing powder that is has some sparkle that might look pretty on the doves. Play around with a few and see what appeals to you. I don’t see where you could incorporate the ribbon unless this is a folded card and you could use it tied in the crease of the fold.
