I am planning for March/April of 2012 and I’m having a candy bar, no cake. What about making your bridesmaid dresses? :) My friend had a buffet at her wedding. Her family took care of it. One member did baked potatoes. Just stuck like 100 potatoes in the oven wrapped in aluminum foil. Another did like 4 hams. Green beans, salad, and rolls. It was REALLY yummy too.

Have you thought of either having white mums or red mums as your flowers?! I LOVE buttom mums so much, and am having them as my boquets & centerpieces….

They are PRIME in september, and priced VERY low :) Ill attach pictures of the flowers I am doing…(not my pics but some I am going off)

As for favors/cake…have a CANDY APPLE BAR! Red apples (your color) and carmel sauce fountain, white chocolate fountain, crushed candy bars, red hots, sprinkles & chocolate crushed up…have people make their own candy apple :) Its fall like!!! You can have a small cake topper made so you can save it & use for pictures as well…

Have a hot apple cider bar with cinnamon sticks, and other additives (instead of a punch table)

lots of twinkly white lights & candles too :)

DIY food. I love brie cheese. Warm melted brie with crackers or with fruit.

DIY centerpieces. I live the simplicity f filling jars or vases with water and filling with fresh cut flowers.

favors? anything edible.
