I really want a creative and inexpensive christmas wedding place card. I am really into the DIY stuff and even though it is an xmas wedding, there are no santa clauses anywhere near my wedding!!
I need a non cheesy, kind of dreamy festive idea for placecards…

suggestions?

Go to a craft store and stroll through the scrapbook aisle where they have so many ideas it will make your head spin. Also, check out the stamping section. The scrap book papers and pens are limited to your imagination. There is this pen that you write with and sprinkle powder on the wet ink then heat it up and it turns into this really nice embossed lettering, some have this glass shine to it.
I think they are called embossing pens and powders. Explore the possibilities

One idea I love if it goes with your theme is to get pine cones. Then spray if you want (I like them plain). Find a way to tie a red and green plaid ribbon around each one, and attach the place card to the ribbon (easiest way is punch a hole in place card). Then use either real or fake pine sprigs, and sit the pine cone on the sprig.

If you want a less rustic vibe, these are gorgeous. They’re $3 apiece, but I really like them.
