Hi There! I am assuming that you mean materials you can order so you can make things?

If so, these are the best!

If you’re looking more for a site that will allow you to buy things people make.. etsy.com is wonderful!

Good Luck! I too am a DIY bride, because I love doing it!! It isn’t easy but it’s fun, and when you’re really good at, no one even knows the difference =) If you need help e-mail me!

diybride.com is good because they find new coupons for you every week. JoAnn’s also has some cheap crafty items online, as does oriental trading company’s website.

For large decorative items (tulle, bead curtains, lanterns) I recommend shopwildthings.com They can be a little pricey but they have wow factor. You can also rent decor items from local party stores, you know, and not have to buy them ;) Things like chair bows, linens, candelabras, tulle, balloon arch things, plastic plants, whatever… Some florists also own arches and candelabras that they will rent out to you.

I also like favorfavor.com for cheap wedding favors, however if you need large amounts (like in the 100′s) you can look for a company that does business promotions like lipbalmexpress.com

As the other poster said, etsy.com is a great place for ideas.

For very cheap printing, like invitations and programs, sign up for vistaprint.com’s mailing list, they give out insanely great coupons every week.

overstock.com might help, their ClubO saves you 5% on everything and you get free shipping, it is just $20 per year. They have some surprisingly good stuff on there.

My last tip is to go to the dollar store or look at big shops like WalMart and Target for out of season and sale items. You can do a lot with icicle lights or garden lanterns, and other things that are going on sale if you are creative.

Check out this forum http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/index.php?referrerid=5860

90% of the girls do DIY and post their results and templates and where to buy the cheapest supplies, etc. I saved thousands by doing the DIY on this forum
