My friend is having her classic black and white wedding at this really pretty arboretum and she is having the guests enter through this stone courtyard area with pretty flowers, etc. There are some tables, and she wanted to set up an outdoor food display. My idea was a display of sodas in ice (no alcohol at this venue), and she was thinking about a candy bar station which would double as favors. My other thought was ice cream soda station like in this link, super cute. Any ideas or comments? It will be in Texas in May, so it will be warm out, but there can also be bugs and stuff so you don’t want a lot of open food containers.

I would buy those galvanized tubs (see photo below) and put the sodas in those to display them.

If you do the candy bar make sure to have containers that have lids on them and get candies that wont melt in the Texas heat. You don’t want mushy candy.

Best of luck!
