What’s the best Software to make Wedding invitations?

by DIY wedding planner on September 6, 2012

I’m getting married, and have come to find that wedding invitations/print shops are super expensive, and would like to make the invitations on my own. Does anyone know of a good program to make wedding invitations? I would perfer one that has speciffic templates for weddings. Cost of the software is not a huge issue as long as it’s under $100 to $150.

I bought a kit that worked with Microsoft Word. The invitations were amazing.

Good luck!

We just used MS publisher. We bought 80 invitations and envelopes in kits for $100, including the response cards, and printed them at home. You don’t need a template on the computer if you do that, the design is already on the cards and you just print the text onto them.

I made my own without software – just word processing (Word)

This is how I did it: http://www.frugal-living-now.com/homemade-wedding-invitations.html
